I love books that make me think. This book certainly did the trick. It caused me to think a lot about my ability to tolerate discomfort, developing resilience, and establishing inner confidence. I took pages of notes and plan to read it again soon.
Where do we begin? A game of stories by Esther Perel
Esther Perel is a renowned therapist and thought leader in the fields of relationships and intimacy. She is widely recognized for her innovative perspectives on love, sexuality, and the complexities of human connection. Perel's book, "Mating in Captivity," helped me understand and navigate through several relationship challenges.
My wife and I have also really enjoyed this game. It facilitates revealing conversations, strengthens active listening, and promotes deeper connection. Lately, we’ve been playing this a couple times per week, usually with 2-3 rounds of questions. We haven’t tried playing with others but imagine that would also be fun.
For the longest time, I’ve had a musical itch I could not scratch. There were many times I just couldn’t find what I wanted to listen to. This album fills a lot of that void.
For a taste…

I love everything about this album. It might be my favorite album from the last five years.
